This is a lovely, well made dress. I normally wear an 18W-20W, so just to be sure, I ordered this in a 22W. It felt like a size 16 (regular). Couldn't even get it over my head. I don't know who these people are who say that the sizes fit, but I just came from a large chain department store in a big city - tried on about 50 dresses. All of them were 18W (20W was too big) but this dress? Seriously? It runs about 4-5 sizes too small. I find this is pretty consistent across the Mac Dugall dress line.Gorgeous, but...runs very small. Returning for 2 sizes larger.Gorgeous dress. Very flattering on my boyinsh figure due to the peplum material. The material is somewhat of a damask . Very good quality, sturdy and thick. Much better than depicted.Perfect Fit - got for my daughter's prom. Tried on a very similar style in same brand (Mac Duggal) at local store & they wanted $450! Great Deal for $95!A beautiful dress.
